Data-based inferences and research findings are becoming increasingly more influential in decision-making processes for museums. Such findings scientifically validate the need for change and ongoing inclusivity at the levels of program and exhibit design, implementation, and outcome, as well as audience behavior and visitor experience. In this workshop, participants will actively delve into three types of evaluation methodologies, how they were initially used by the presenters at their institutions, and work together to respond to hypothetical scenarios as a way of sharing experiences and exchanging insights within the evaluation field.
