Caregiver Cell Phone Use and Interaction in Family Museum Spaces

This study evaluated the impact of smartphones on caregiver-to-child interactions in the American Museum of Natural History’s Discovery Room. The goal was to gather concrete data about the use of smartphones, and to contribute to the field’s growing understanding of how smartphones have impacted family interactions in museums.
